As many as 3,568 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Turkmenistan in the first 4 months of 2020, which is 20 percent less than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"Turkmenistan accounted for 0.96 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation from Turkey by trucks for the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, in April 2020, 643 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Turkmenistan, which is 37 percent less than in April 2019.
In total, 369,978 Turkish trucks transported cargo abroad from January through April 2020, which is 8 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Some 79,909 Turkish trucks transported cargo abroad in April 2020, which is 23 percent less compared to April 2019.
