Turkey increased export of fruits to France by 3 percent in March 2020 compared to March 2019, the Turkish Association of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Exporters told Trend on June 2.
According to the association, Turkey exported 1,117 tons of fruits to France in March 2020, which is 1 percent of the country’s total fruit exports in March of last year.
Meanwhile, Turkey’s export of fruits to France amounted to over $1.1 million, showing an increase of 3 percent compared to March 2019.
In March 2020, Turkey’s export of fruit and vegetables to world markets exceeded $178.8 million, having increased by 25 percent compared to the same month in 2019.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover exceeded $32.2 billion in March 2020.
In March 2020, Turkey’s export decreased by 17.8 percent compared to the same month of 2019, amounting to $13.4 billion.
Meanwhile, in the reporting month, Turkey's import increased by 3.1 percent compared to the same month of 2019 and amounted to $18.8 billion.
