Turkey records growth in number of civil airplanes in 2020

Trend:

The number of aircraft in the civil aviation of Turkey saw a growth in 2020, compared to the figures from 2019, Turkey’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation told Trend on Feb.9.

According to the Directorate General, the number of aircraft in the civil aviation system of the country for the reporting year made up 554 units, while in 2019 it reached 546 units.

Last year, the largest number of aircraft in the civil aviation system of Turkey accounted for the Turkish Airlines (THY), with 341 units.
