Turkey reveals 1Q2021 figures on electrical goods exports to Georgia

Exports of electrical goods from Turkey to Georgia fell by 4.7 percent from January through March 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to $20.1 million, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey told Trend.

In March 2021, the export of electrical goods from Turkey to Georgia dropped by 17.7 percent compared to March 2020 and settled at $6.6 million, said the ministry.

According to the ministry, in the first quarter of 2021, the export of electrical goods from Turkey increased by 28.1 percent over the year, surpassing $3.2 billion.

Turkey exported electrical goods to global markets worth over $1.25 billion during March 2021, which is 51.9 percent more compared to March 2020.

Over the past 12 months (from March 2020 to March 2021), Turkey’s exports of electrical goods amounted to $11.7 billion.
