The export of steel from Turkey to Georgia increased by 11 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of last year and amounted to $61.7 million, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
The export of steel from Turkey to Georgia increased by 14.5 percent in June 2021 compared to June 2020 up to $13.04 million.
Turkey increased the export of steel by 54.9 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of last year up to $9.2 billion.
Turkey exported steel worth $2.02 billion in June 2021, which is 81 percent more than in June 2020.
The export of steel reached $15.9 billion over the past 12 months (June 2020 - June 2021).
