The export of steel from Turkey to Iran increased by 27.75 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of 2020 and amounted to $23.6 million, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
In June 2021, the export of steel from Turkey to Iran dropped by 44 percent compared to June 2020, settling at $3.81 million, the ministry said.
Turkey increased the export of steel by 54.9 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of last year up to $9.2 billion.
Turkey exported steel worth $2.02 billion in June 2021, which is 81 percent more than in June 2020.
The export of steel reached $15.9 billion over the past 12 months (from June 2020 through June 2021).
