Turkey unveils data on car shipments between its Mersin and Israeli Haifa ports

As many as 945 vehicles were delivered from the Turkish port of Mersin to the Israeli port of Haifa from January through July 2021, and 589 in the opposite direction, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

Thus, the number of vehicles transported between the two ports during the mentioned period totaled 1,534, said the ministry.

Turkish ports handled a total of over 1.18 million vehicles in the first 7 months of 2021.

Ro-Ro ships delivered 472,022 vehicles to Turkish ports during the reporting period.

From January through July 2021, 716,691 vehicles were sent from the ports of Turkey by Ro-Ro ships

“Turkish ports handled 145,316 vehicles in total in July of this year. In this month, Ro-Ro ships delivered 58,106 vehicles to Turkish ports, and 87,210 cars were sent from the ports,” the ministry said.
