The value of export of leather products from Turkey to international markets has grown in the first eight months of 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on Sept.6.
According to the ministry, this indicator amounted to over $1 billion, up by 27.8 percent on annual basis.
In August this year, Turkey exported leather products worth $157 million abroad, which is 60.5 percent more than in August 2020.
The country’s total export value of the products has exceeded $1.5 billion during the last 12 months (from August 2020 through August 2021).
