The cement export by Turkey to Georgia slightly lowered from January through September 2021 in value terms, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
According to the ministry, this indicator amounted to $37 million, down by 9.1 percent on annual basis.
In September this year, the value of the Turkish-made cement export to Georgia also decreased – by 17.3 percent compared to the same month of 2020, and equaled $5 million.
The total value of cement exports by Turkey abroad in the first eight months of 2021 grew by 25.3 percent compared to the same period of last year, up to $3.4 billion.
Turkey exported cement worth $420.2 million in September, which is 22.2 percent more than in September last year.
Over the past 12 months (from September 2020 through September 2021), Turkish cement exports amounted to $4.4 billion.
