BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 16. The value of cement export from Türkiye to Northern Cyprus increased by 10.8 percent in 2023 year-on-year to $76.5 million, Trend reports.
The data of the Turkish Trade Ministry shows that this figure grew by 7.7 percent last December, compared to the same month in 2022, to $6.6 million.
Turkish cement exports decreased by 15.5 percent in value terms to $4.6 million in 2023 compared to last year.
Türkiye exported cement worth $353,000 in December 2023, which is 19.7 percent less than in December 2022.
Within the last 12 months (from December 2022 through December 2023), the country exported cement worth $4.6 billion.
