Azerbaijani branch of Bank Melli Iran has undergone changes as the branch's director general Manoochehr Hosseinzadeh left the office due to termination of his duties, a source in the country's banking sector told Trend Dec. 9.
Hosseinzadeh served as the director general at the bank for 7.5 years.
Hosseinzadeh is currently out of the country, said the source, and his duties are being temporarily executed by the bank's deputy director general, Askar Najafi.
In the Q3 2015, the assets of the bank's Baku branch reached 17.4 million manats.
The Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran began its activity in 1993, while Bank Melli Iran itself started to operate in 1928.
Currently, it has 3,300 branches throughout Iran.
