The revenues of Azerbaijan's State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) from the sale of profit oil amounted to $1.139 billion, SOFAZ told Trend Apr. 21.
SOFAZ's revenues from the development project of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of oil and gas fields totaled $118.146 billion from early 2001 to Apr.1, 2016, said SOFAZ.
The Fund's revenues from the project totaled $1.137 billion in January-March 2016, some $347 million of which accounted for March, $348 million - for February and $442 million - for January.
As of Apr. 1, 2016, SOFAZ's assets increased by two percent and totaled $34.25 billion compared to early 2016 ($33.57 billion), said the Fund.
SOFAZ was established in 1999 with assets of $271 million.
