Iran will open two centers on February 23. The newly developed high-tech computers in Iran will be used there, the official website of the Organization for Economic Cooperation econews. ir. reported.
The ceremony will be attended by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Cabinet of Ministers.
The centers will organize videoconference.
It was announced about creating a supercomputer in Iran in early February. The speed of its microprocessor is 34,000 MHz.
Iran's deputy president for science and technology, Salar Amuli, said that a national computer will be ready for use this year. It will enter the top 500 most powerful computers in the world.
"Developing a supercomputer will renovate science and technology of the country. A supercomputer will be used in the field of seismology, defense, nuclear physics and to solve various issues," Amuli said.
