Burcu Dolunay of Turkey clocked 25.42 in women's 50m freestyle in 17th Mediterranean Games, the Anadolu agency reported on Saturday.
MERSIN Burcu Dolunay of Turkey came third in women's 50 meters freestyle competition on Saturday in the 17-th Mediterranean Games in the southern Turkish city of Mersin.
Dolunay finished the event in 25.42 to win the bronze medal after Italy's Silvia di Pietro who won the silver.
- Men's 4x100 Relay
In men's 4x100 relay, the Turkish team won the silver medal with 3.18.79 after their Italian rivals who claimed the title with 3.15.99. Greece placed third with 3.19.09.
Turkey's Gizem Bozkurt and Iris Rosenberger came fifth and seventh, respectively.
- Women's 200m butterfly
Turkey's Halime Zulal Zeren won the bronze medal with 2.14.93 in women's 200 meters butterfly after Italian Ambra Esposito's 2.12.21 that earned her a gold. Italy's Margherita Panziera won the silver medal.
