An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale stroke off North Sulawesi province in eastern parts of Indonesia on Wednesday but there was no potential for tsunami, the country's Meteorology and Geophysics Agency reported.
The quake jolted at 11 : 42 a.m. Jakarta time (0442 GMT) with epicenter at 113 km northwest Kepulauan Sangihe of the province and with the depth at 308 km, the agency said, Xinhua reported.
