Georgian parliamentary majority leader and chairman of the Georgia-China parliamentary friendship group David Saganelidze met with China Development Bank Vice President Li Jiping as part of his visit to Beijing.
During the meeting the parties discussed the financing of Georgia's major projects by the bank and the main areas of the country's economic development, Georgian parliament told Trend on April 4.
Saganelidze also spoke about the priorities of Georgian government and economic reforms that have been implemented in the country in recent years.
The bank's management in turn demonstrated a great interest in the infrastructure projects in Georgia.
Li Jiping also said he wants to visit Tbilisi and meet there with the Georgian government members.
The Chinese side expressed readiness to participate in the creation of Georgia's Development Bank, as well as share its experiences, conduct consultations, make recommendations and financially support the projects to be realized by the bank.
