4G network to be deployed in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijani Azercell Telekom mobile operator is deploying the 4G network in Baku, Corporate Affairs Department head Ulviya Hasanzade told Trend on Friday.
She said the launch of the network is scheduled for early May.
"4G network will cover the territory of the capital. Individual Hot-Spot stations will be enabled in the Seaside National Park, which will provide 4G network. It is about data transfer services," Hasanzade said.
The company in the run-up to launch of 4G network plans to introduce new tariff plans, precise details of which have not been disclosed.
Users will be offered DATA-cards that support the LTE standard.
LTE technology is chosen core technology of the fourth generation.
