BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 26. Azerbaijan is a highly attractive country in terms of financial market, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Fintech Association of Georgia David Kikvidze told reporters, Trend reports.
He said that the Fintech Association can collaborate with Azerbaijan both in the banking system and in the field of financial technologies.
"In recent years, I have been following the Azerbaijani financial market, and I can confidently say that there is successful development in the financial and banking system here. Georgia has fintech companies interested in entering the Azerbaijani market. Azerbaijan will also be interested in entering the Georgian market because Georgia has a stable financial market and extensive opportunities," he explained.
Baku Fintech Forum 2023 is the first fintech forum of a regional nature, in which, along with financial institutions operating in the country, international financial institutions are involved.
The organization of the Baku Forum, which aroused wide interest among financial market participants, is important from the point of view of forming an effective platform that will determine further directions for the development of the Fintech ecosystem.
Presentations and an exchange of views were held at the forum on topics such as the present and future of the Fintech ecosystem, legislative reforms for the development of the ecosystem, investment opportunities and their future, and the activities of startups in the Fintech ecosystem.
The agenda of the forum also includes digital banking and opportunities for innovation in this area, the latest development trends in the field of digital banking.
