BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 15. A major central park project in Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli city is set to commence soon, Chairman of the Karabakh Revival Fund Rahman Hajiyev told reporters, Trend reports.
"With the financial support of the Karabakh Revival Fund, various projects are being implemented in the liberated territories. Most of them are carried out at the request of other state institutions and are financed by the Fund.
Moreover, resources have been earmarked for enhancing the tourism infrastructure surrounding the Shahbulag Castle. A major central park with various amenities, including restaurants, playgrounds, sports facilities, bridges, and other structures, is planned for the city of Fuzuli. The project is already in the expert review stage, and its implementation will begin soon," he said.
Furthermore, Hajiyev noted that several historical sites, such as the ancient Caravanserai and museum building, will be restored in Shusha city with the Fund's support.
"An environmental project has been implemented in Fuzuli and the Zangilan region. Shortly, the Fund will collaborate with the Ministry of Culture to start funding the establishment of memorial complexes in Karabakh. There are many similar projects underway," he added.
