BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. Business missions from Russia's Tomsk region have begun visit to Azerbaijan, a source in the Trade Representation of Russia in Baku told Trend.
The mission includes companies engaged in the development of realistic modular renewable biomedical simulators of the human body and the production of bio-ice cream, probiotics, and dietary supplements based on extracts from timber, among others.
As Alexander Belyaev, head of the Export Support Center of the Tomsk region, said, the region has long and efficiently interacted with Azerbaijan.
"Our universities and enterprises are interested in developing cooperation. This year, at the request of small and medium-sized enterprises, we organized business missions to Baku. We very much hope that the negotiations will lead to mutually beneficial contacts and contracts. We look forward to continuing this interaction and plan to organize further cooperation events between the Tomsk region and Azerbaijan next year," he added.
To note, the business mission visit will last until November 2.
