An uninhabited part of the Icheri Sheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve in Baku collapsed at noon on Monday, a spokesman for the reserve, Rahib Azeri, told Trend.

An uninhabited part of the Icheri Sheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve in Baku collapsed at noon on Monday, a spokesman for the reserve, Rahib Azeri, told Trend.

The road leading to apartments No 24, 26 and 28 on 2 Kichik Gala alley, Sabail district, Baku was blocked when the roof of an old building nearby fell in.

He said that the staff of the housing office is clearing the road leading to the apartments.

Azeri said that nobody was injured and residents of apartments were evacuated through a back entrance.

Azeri said that the road will be completely cleared from the wreckage of the roof within a few hours.
