Explosions of mines in 2010 affected four people in Azerbaijan, and one of the victims died, the press service of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told Trend.

Explosions of mines in 2010 affected four people in Azerbaijan, and one of the victims died, the press service of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told Trend. In December, an incident was recorded related to unexploded ordnance.

A total of 3,072,171 square meters of land have been cleared in December 2010. About 6,306 pieces of unexploded ordnances and six anti-tank mines were found and defused.
So far the agency cleared 151,820,465 square meters of land, found and neutralized 640,589 mines and unexploded ammunition.

ANAMA operates in Tartar, Agdam, Agjabedi, Fizuli, Gedabey, Goranboy, Tovuz, Goygol districts, as well as in the Agstafa region in the village of Saloglu and Garadagh district of Baku in Guzdek settlement.
