Several sea crossings on the Gokceada-Kabatepe and Eceabat-Kepez routes have been cancelled because of a heavy storm in the Turkish province of Canakkale, Anadolu agency said today.
Other sea crossings are expected to be cancelled. Forecasters predict that the storm will strengthen by late afternoon. Unstable weather has been observed in Turkey for the second week.
Forecasters predict that heavy snowfall will continue in many provinces this week.
