In the Turkish port of Mersin a ship carrying goods with forged documents from Russia to Libya was detained, Deniz Haber newspaper reported on Friday.
According to the publication, the ship belongs to a company located in Kadikoy district of Istanbul. It was carrying 2,860 tons of barley.
It is reported that in Russian territorial waters the ship was called Tura and under the Moldovan flag. In Turkish waters it arrived with the name Moon on board under the flag of Tanzania. It is reported that the ship's crew are citizens of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
