USA and Iran Strengthen Terrorism in Iraq: Iranian Politician

Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend D.Khatinoglu / As a response to accusations of the US senior official that Iran supports terrorism, senior officials of Iran assess the presence of the American armed forces in Iraq as a destabilization of the situation.

"Both the USA and Iran strengthen terrorism," said Iranian politician, Mohammad Asangaran, who is functioning in Germany.

US senior officials said that they have collected enough facts and testimonies to show that Iran has committed terror acts in Iraq and supplied arms to Shiit groups. The President of Iran, Ahmadinejad, said on 17 September in his statement on Iranian TV channel 'Jame-Jam' that the presence of American armed forces in Iraq leads to instability in the country.

Asangaran informed Trend on 18 September from Berlin by telephone that nearly 70,000 Iraqis have died as a result of the occupation policy of the USA in Iraq. In addition, the security of millions of people has been broken.

Asangaran does not exclude the possibility that Tehran has committed terror acts in Iraq. The Iranian politician said that if the USA attacks Iran, neither the Iranian people, nor the Iranian government will benefit by it.

"It needs to account for losers, there will be no winners," the Iranian politician said. Two days ago the Foreign Minister of France, Bernar Kushner, made a statement containing threats of war and attacks on Iran.
