Romania, Bucharest / corr Trend Y.Aliyev / The program for the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's two-day visit to Romania scheduled to begin on 24 September has been publicized.
The Romanian President's Office informed Trend that on the first day of the visit to Bucharest a representation office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation will be opened in Romania. The same day the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Romania will meet. The agenda for first day also includes an opening ceremony for a park named after the former Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev in the second sector of Bucharest. The Romanian President Traian Basescu is expected to attend the ceremony.
On the second day of the visit (25 September), the Azerbaijani President will visit the oil and gas university in Ploeshti, which awarded the President an Honorary Doctorate in 2004. The Azerbaijani leader plans to visit the Clock Museum and Museum of Oil.
Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Lady and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, will accompany the President on his visit.
