Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Ilhamgizi / The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation headed by the president of the Eurasia Foundation Horton Beebe-Center at the Presidential Palace on 12 November.
The Eurasia Foundation has been operating in Azerbaijan for some 15 years and its key target is to render assistance for improvement of Azerbaijani citizens' welfare in civil and economic fields, Bibi-Center said. He informed President Aliyev of the Eurasia Foundation's future plans for the country.
President Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation between the Eurasia Foundation and Azerbaijan. The cooperation contributes to expansion of relations between Azerbaijan and the United States, assists development of civil society and improvement of NGOs' activities in Azerbaijan, President Aliyev said.
