Ukraine, Kiev, 26 March / Trend corr Z. Novosvitski/ The Azerbaijani military delegation headed by the colonel-lieutenant Zulfugar Abdullayev, who is the senior officer of the Central Department for Operational and Military Training at the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, is visiting Kiev.
According to the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, the key purpose of the visit is getting familiar with the peacekeeping activities of the Ukraine's Armed Forces and exchange of experience on planning and carrying out peacekeeping operations.
Within the framework of the visit the representatives of the Azerbaijani military delegation are holding working meetings with the Ukrainian servicemen who will inform in detail their Azerbaijani counterparts of the preparations and participation of Ukrainian Armed Forces in the peacekeeping operations under the auspices of different international organizations, as well as of the legislative aspects of the peacekeeping activities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The two sides are also exchanging their experience on planning and comprehensive provision of participation in peacekeeping operations.
The visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Ukraine will last to 27 March.
