France, Strasburg, 9 April / Trend A. Maharramli/ The Cultural Ministers of the Council of Europe's countries will meet in Baku, Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, CE Director General of Education, Culture and Heritage, Youth and Sport, said to Trend on 8 April. She said that Azerbaijan sticks to a special position in playing an important role in the inter-cultural dialogue. "Therefore, on 10-12 November 2008, we will hold a conference on the subject of 'Inter-cultural Dialogue' in Baku to involve the Cultural Ministers of the CE countries, the League of Arabic States, as well as other neighbouring countries. The event will enable meeting not only of European Ministers, but also of the Cultural Ministers of the Middle East and Mediterranean countries. Azerbaijan has made such a political initiative, so we can say that Azerbaijan may play the role of a bridge- connecting CE with the neighbouring countries."
On 8 April, Strasburg hosted the meeting on religious field of inter-cultural dialogue, which involved the representatives of different religious communities, scientific figures and civil society.
