Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 May / Trend corr. J.Babayeva / The opposition Great Establishment party (GEP) will stage a rally before the State Committee on State Property Management on 16 May, Fazail Gazanfaroglu, chairman of the party stated to Trend .
Since the very beginning, GEP never had its permanent headquarters. At present, the party does not have its headquarters because of the funds shortcomings.
Previously, Gazanfaroglu had appealed to the State Committee to provide the party with the headquarters. However, the party did not accept the apartment offered by the Committee.
Gazanfaroglu said that GEP has already submitted an appeal to the Baku Executive Power to sanction the rally.
"If Baku Executive Power would not sanction the rally, then GEP would make a court appeal," GEP chairman stated.
The opposition Great Establishment party was founded in 2004. In 2005, the party passed the state registration. Gazanfaroglu is an MP of the Azerbaijani Parliament.
