Ukraine, Kiev,
24 September /corr.
Trend Z.Novosvitiski / The Prime Minister of
Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko is convinced that the President of Ukraine Victor
Yushchenko has already made a decision to hold pre-term parliamentary
elections.
"I am convinced that the President of Ukraine has decided to conduct pre-term elections
in order to destroy democratic government, democratic coalition anyhow and,
thus, to destroy me as a hypothetical competitor in the presidential elections,"
Tymoshenko said to press conference in the Cabinet of Ministers on 24 September.
She said that
today still there are prerequisites for the re-establishment of the activity of
the democratic coalition which can be joined by the fraction of Litvin bloc.
Tymoshenko said that she, as Prime Minister, was not interested in the
pre-term elections.
"We still work in order to, in any manner, entice the President with his team back, into the coalition, and together with Vladimir Litvin we work in this regard from morning to evening. If he can not be enticed back, then we will think how to create forced unions, but not to allow pre-term," added Timoshenko.
