Afghanistan, Kabul, 3 November / corr Trend A Hakimi / At least one foreign aid worker and an Afghan driver have been kidnapped in Kabul.
Three gunmen snatched the French aid worker at 10.15am on Monday in the Kart-e-Parwan area of the capital, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry, Zmari Bashari, said.
The gunmen escaped and police are currently investigating the abduction.
A separate report said the kidnapping occurred while the aid worker was travelling between a guest house and an office.
The abduction happened near where Gayle Williams was shot last month and where another foreigner was taken some time ago.
Another report suggests that two others travelling in the car escaped the kidnappers, leaving the foreigner and the Afghan driver in captivity.
