Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 November / Trend , corr. J.Babayeva /An alliance to unite four left-wing parties of Azerbaijan was established.
A meeting was held to create an organization committee to work out a program and regulation of the alliance. Other left-wing parties will be accepted to the organization on the basis of consensus with requirements of the regulation as soon as the establishment of the alliance is announced officially, the Communistic Party of Azerbaijan reported to Trend .
Since early November, chairmen of the Social, Communistic, Unified Communistic parties and Communistic party of Azerbaijan on the ground of Marxism-Leninism ideology hold negotiations to establish a new alliance of left-wing parties. The goal of the alliance is to participate in the municipal and parliamentary elections from the united platform.
The municipal and parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will be held in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
