Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, Jan. 22 / Trend , E.Hasanov/ The goal of the visit of the Russian First Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Denisov to Turkmenistan was to discuss the further development of bilateral relations between the two countries, Russian Foreign Ministry said in a message.
The talks focused on
the preparation of the state visit of Turkmen President Gurbanguly
Berdymuhamedov to Russia take place in March.
The Russian senior official is expected to be received by Berdymuhamedov.
The parties noted the "importance to hold a meeting of the CIS Foreign
Ministers Council and a Commonwealth Agricultural Forum in Ashgabat in 2009.
