On Jan. 29, the Kyrgyz Embassy in Germany gave humanitarian aid to the state administration in the Alay district in Osh, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said.
The embassy delivered humanitarian aid amounting to 222,592 euro for medical, children's and educational institutions in the region. The aid includes clothes for adults and children, blankets, computers, bandages, surgical tools, medical equipment and wheelchairs.
The embassy began collecting the aid after an earthquake in the area in late 2008.
The embassy delivered the aid to the Gulcha village in the district in cooperation with the Comrade German charity organization.
