Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev issued an order to apply the Law on Amending the List of Municipalities in the Republic of Azerbaijan, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
Upon the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers is in charge of preparing and submit proposals to bring existing legislation into conformity with the Law within two months.
Also the laws and regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers and regulations of relevant central executive bodies must be harmonized with the Law.
The decree takes effect from the date of publication.
