Meeting of President Mikheil Saakashvili with opposition leaders is at the phase of active preparation.
According to the Interior Ministry, additional security measures have been taken at the building where the meeting will be held and the building has been provided with security devices.
First, at 14:00, the president will meet with four representatives of non-parliamentary opposition, and then hold talks with the parliamentary opposition. The parties will discuss ways to eliminate political crisis in the country.
The opposition has their proposals, as well. If the radical opposition attempts to provide evidence that the president's resignation will lead the country out of crisis, the parliamentary opposition has developed a number of specific issues that concerns systemic changes.
Minister of Corrections, probation and legal aid Dmitri Shashkin, who oversees the new wave of democratic reform hopes for opposition's constructivism. He said there are specific issues that can be solved via dialogue.
