Ereti radio intends to apply to Strasbourg court with suit against Georgia that Georgia's court agencies did not meet demand of this regional broadcasting company (Kakheti region) to admit National communications commission's decision as invalid.
National communications commission issued Ereti license for broadcasting on December 11, 2007. Then commission fined radio station in the amount of 5,000 lari under pretence of its illegal broadcasting before getting the license.
Ereti radio applied to Tbilisi's court and Tbilisi appellation Court demanding cancellation of this sanction.
Appellation court remained decision of Tbilisi's court dated September 26 in force on November 28, 2008. Suit of Ereti against national communications commission was not complied. Later Georgia's Supreme Court put similar decision.
Georgia's association of young lawyers asserts interests of Ereti radio.
