IV congress of world mathematical society of Turkic countries to be held in Azerbaijan

IV congress of world mathematical society of Turkic countries will be held in Azerbaijan, press-service of Kazakh national university named after al-Farabi told Trend . III congress of world mathematical society of Turkic countries was held one of these days.

Azerbaijani scientist-mathematic Fikret Aliyev together with his Turkish colleague Etibar Panahov were elected vice-presidents of world mathematic society of Turkic countries, press-service of the university said.  

"All 500 participants of the congress from 15 world countries unanimously elected famous scientist, rector of Kazakh scientific university named after al-Farabi Bakitzhan Zhumagulov (Kazakhstan) as president. He is head of mathematic school on mathematic and computer modeling," university said.   

Participants of III congress and heads of world mathematic society of Turkic countries received appeal after forum. They suggest conducting congress of mathematicians of Turkic worlds more traditional. According to them, it will promote successful development of scientific-technical and education cooperation between scientists of Turkic countries, as well as other concerned nations. 

World mathematic society of Turkic countries was established in 1999 and unites mathematicians from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, China, Mongolia, Russia, the USA and EU countries. The society promotes successful development of scientific cooperation of mathematicians. The first congress of mathematicians of Turkic world was held in Firat university in 1999. This university is situated in Elazig in Turkey. The second congress was held in Sakarya university in Turkey in 2007. Society holds its third congress within years of its existence. Number of participants of the congress increases every year.
