On August 17, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an executive order endorsing the state program on establishment and development of the space industry in Azerbaijan, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies is in charge of coordinating activities under the order.
The activities under the Presidential order will be implemented at the expense of Public budget and other funding sources stipulated in the law.
The Cabinet of Ministers is in charge of resolving the issue arising from the order.
