A rally under the slogan "Initiative of pedestrians in compliance with traffic regulations" was held in Azerbaijan on Friday.
The rally was organized by the public association "Healthy development and education" with the support of the General Directorate of State Traffic Police of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry. Its purpose was to inform drivers and pedestrians on road ethics and teach them the rules of choosing the correct and safe way.
Volunteers gave pedestrians booklets in squares Azadliq and Azneft.
Such actions are very important, the organization chairman Anar Khalilov told Trend.
"Our citizens die in Azerbaijan daily because of negligence and failure to comply with traffic regulations. Education of the public is important to prevent such incidents", Khalilov said.
