Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on allocating funds for overhaul of pre-school education institutions and elementary schools of special vocational education, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
Order was signed in order to accelerate the execution of measures under the Program on Update of Preschool Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan (2007-2010) and State Program on Development of Vocational Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan (2007-2012) ".
The Reserve Fund of the President of Azerbaijan shall allocated 2 million manat for overhaul of pre-schools, as well as 2 million manat for overhaul of elementary schools of special vocational education.
The Finance Ministry of Azerbaijan should provide the funding and the Cabinet of Ministers should resolve other issues arising from the order.
