Russian FM to visit Turkey

On Jan. 20, Istanbul will host the first meeting of the Joint Strategic Planning Group under chairmanship of Russian Foreign Minister
Sergey Lavrov and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Russian Foreign Ministry's website reported.
The meeting will cover the questions of organizing the work of this new mechanism of Russian-Turkish cooperation established under the Cooperation Council between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Turkey. Exchange of views will be conducted on a wide range of bilateral and international agenda, including the issues of European security, the situation in the Middle East settlement, the situation in the Balkans, the Caucasus and other regions of the world, the report said.
