A memorial ceremony on the 21th anniversary of the January 20 tragedy was held at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Serbia, the diplomatic representation told Trend.
The event was attended by members of the Azerbaijani cultural center in Belgrade and the Serbian-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the Azerbaijani community living in Serbia, Azerbaijani students, media representatives and the Muslim community of Belgrade.
The participants familiarized with a photo stand and revered the memory of the victims.
A film "Road to freedom" was demonstrated.
The embassy prepared the press-release about the history and consequences of the bloodshed. It was delivered to the diplomatic missions of foreign countries and international organizations in Belgrade, Serbia's state institutions and non-governmental organizations.
