EU Special Representative for South Caucasus Peter Semneby discussed regional security issues at a meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister Sergi Kapanadze in Tbilisi.
"A particular attention was paid to the EU's role in ensuring security in the South Caucasus. It was a substantive discussion, which dealt with regional security, while at the meeting, we raised all our questions," Semneby told reporters.
The sides also touched upon the question of the occupied territories.
"We discussed how the EU can assist Georgia in resolving problems with the occupied territories, security challenges," Semneby said.
