Azerbaijan's ruling Yeni Azerbaijan party (NAP) has protested the closed meeting of German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle with NGOs in Baku.
Azerbaijan cooperates and implements reciprocal visits with 125 countries. NAP Deputy Executive Secretary Mubariz Gurbanli said at a meeting of the Parliament of azerbaijan on Friday.
"The Foreign Minister of Germany may meet with the NGOs, in Baku, but closed meetings with them can not be approved. It is regarded as an interference in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan," Gurbanli added. Westerwelle, was on an official visit to Azerbaijan on March 14-15.
