A Tabriz-Yerevan flight will soon open, East Azerbaijan province head Ahmad Alireza Beigi said today, the Iranian television reported.
At present, the abolition of visa regime between the two countries is being discussed. The presidents of the two countries will make a decision on the issue at the non-aligned movement summit, Beygi said.
An agreement on cooperation was signed between the province of East Azerbaijan and two Armenian districts during Iranian Interior Minister's visit to Armenia, the head of the province said.
An Armenian delegation will arrive in the province of East Azerbaijan in the next 45 days and will discuss cooperation in the field of agriculture.
