Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received on Thursday a delegation led by Member of Parliament of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Bob Blackman, MFA told Trend.
The processes occurring in the South Caucasus and Middle East regions, Azerbaijan's role in international peacekeeping operations and activities of Azerbaijan in Afghanistan were mainly discussed at the meeting.
Elmar Mammadyarov informed about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, noted the non-constructive policy of Armenia and said the so-called "elections" that are held in Nagorno-Karabakh of Azerbaijan, have a negative impact on the settlement of the conflict.
The activities of Azerbaijan in the UN Security Council and relations with international organizations were also discussed at the meeting.
