Archbishop of Mexico, Cardinal Rivera Carrera sent a gratitude letter to Azerbaijani side for repair work in the historical center Mexico city, where Khojaly genocide monument will be erected, Embassy of Azerbaijan in Mexico reported.
"Archbishop welcomed the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Mexico's government and expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for repair work in Tlaxcoaco-Khojaly square as a result of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Mexico's authorities, and also for the church bell,s presented to the Catholic temple situated there", said in a statement on website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
