The regular board meeting of the ruling Yeni Azerbaijan (NAP) party was held on Friday, the official site of the party said.
The agenda included questions on the preparations for the 20th anniversary of the party, as well as the Seventh General Assembly session of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties, to be held in Baku.
Deputy Chairman and executive secretary of the NAP Ali Ahmadov informed about a number of activities in the district (municipal) organizations under the plan of actions with regard to 20th anniversary of the party, the publication of the book dedicated to the anniversary of the party, etc.
Another issue on the agenda was devoted to the organization of a high-level General Assembly of the seventh International Conference of Asian Political Parties. The board members regarded the holding of such a prestigious event in Azerbaijan as an indicator of the international influence of the NAP.
The board has taken appropriate decisions on both issues. Then views were exchanged on topical issues.
